Carbon accounting software is bought by procurement teams, sustainability leads, and boards. SmartCarbon's product could stand the scrutiny. The brand had to catch up.
The challenge
Selling to the most sceptical buyers in the UK.
NHS Trusts, local authorities, and enterprise sustainability teams do not buy from brands that look like startups. Every procurement review, every tender, every exhibition stand is a credibility test. SmartCarbon needed an identity and web presence that could sit in a boardroom next to the biggest names in enterprise software and not blink.
The platform was strong. The task was to make the brand carry the same authority as the data.
The approach
Design for the tender, the boardroom, and the exhibition floor.
We built a new identity system around clarity and evidence: a disciplined palette, confident typography, and a visual language that makes complex carbon data feel legible rather than decorative.
The website was rebuilt end to end, structured around the audiences that buy: NHS and public sector, councils, and enterprise. Alongside it we designed a modular exhibition system that scales from a single banner to a full stand, so the brand shows up consistently wherever the sales team does.
