Brand identity design - Newcastle upon Tyne

A brand identity people recognise, remember and use.

Ayuda creates distinctive identity systems for businesses in Newcastle, across the North East and throughout the UK. From a focused refresh to a complete identity rebuild, every decision is designed to work in the real world.

More than a logo

A usable system, not a folder of concepts.

Brand identity design gives your organisation a consistent visual language across sales, digital, print, environments and everyday communications.

The work starts with what the business needs to signal and who needs to recognise it. We review the existing brand, audience, market and practical applications before deciding what should stay, what should change and what the system needs to do.

The result is a coherent set of assets and rules your team can use. That can include a logo family, typography, colour, graphic devices, imagery direction, templates, guidelines and the first wave of rollout materials.

  • 03

    Identity system

Logo, type, colour, layout, imagery and graphic components designed to work together.

  • 04

    Rollout and guidance

Applied examples, production files and clear rules so the identity survives contact with day-to-day work.

Brand identity questions

What businesses ask before a rebrand.

Straight answers about scope, timing and what the work produces.

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one identifying mark. A brand identity is the wider system that controls how the organisation looks and feels across typography, colour, imagery, layout, digital products, print and physical spaces. The logo matters, but the system is what creates consistency and recognition.

Do we need a full rebrand or an identity refresh?

A refresh is usually right when the business is recognised and the core idea still fits, but the visual system has become dated or inconsistent. A full rebuild is more appropriate after a repositioning, merger, major audience change or when the existing identity actively sends the wrong signal.

How long does a brand identity project take?

Most identity projects take six to eight weeks from briefing to handover. A focused refresh can be shorter, while a complex identity with multiple divisions, products or rollout requirements can take longer. Scope and milestones are agreed before work begins.

Can you work with our existing brand strategy?

Yes. We can translate an existing strategy into a visual identity, or work with Kris Wood on the strategic decisions that need resolving before design. The important part is that the creative brief is clear before visual development starts.

Do you only provide brand identity design in Newcastle?

No. Newcastle upon Tyne is our base, with in-person work available across the wider North East. We also deliver projects remotely for clients across the UK and internationally.
