Case Study — Ora
A wine bar and restaurant brand built end to end.
Independent hospitality lives or dies on atmosphere. Ora needed an identity that could carry through the room itself, not just the menu, and a presence online that matched the experience of walking through the door.

The challenge
An independent restaurant, competing on atmosphere.
Ora is a wine bar and restaurant on Front Street, Tynemouth, going up against chains and hospitality groups with far bigger marketing budgets. The only advantage an independent has is character, and that character has to show up everywhere: on the table, on the walls, in the glass, and on a phone screen before a guest has even booked.
The brief covered more than a logo. It meant designing the feeling of the room and then proving that feeling online.
The approach
One identity, carried through every surface a guest touches.
We built Ora's identity around a mark simple enough to work engraved on glass, printed on a menu, or lit above the bar. From there we art-directed the interior fit-out, shot the photography that would sell the space online, and designed a website and social presence built to convert browsing into bookings.
Every discipline fed the next: the photography needed the interiors finished, the website needed the photography, and the social content needed all of it working together as one consistent brand.
